About Us
Welcome to the Developmental Learning Center - New Providence
The Morris-Union Jointure Commission (MUJC) Developmental Learning Centers (DLC), is dedicated to providing specialized educational programs tailored to students with autism and similar behavioral profiles. Our approach? We utilize the renowned principles of applied behavior analysis. This method allows us to deconstruct complex skills into manageable tasks, ensuring a structured and step-by-step learning process. Key to our approach is positive reinforcement, celebrating every achievement along the way.
Here at New Providence, we cater to students aged 3 to approximately 12. Each student's journey is guided by an individualized educational plan, collaboratively designed by local child study teams, our dedicated DLC staff, and, of course, parents.
